This Listed International Trading and Manufacturing PLC with a turnover of c£200m are looking to strengthen the senior management team with the appointment of a Group Finance Director.
Operating as a key member of the Board, primary areas of responsibility will be:
• Developing strategic financial plans and working as a trusted advisor to the Board on all financial aspects.
• Creating a financial framework that will be able to support the demands of a rapidly growing business
• Planning, managing and enhancing the Group Finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, robust internal controls and optimisation of systems.
• Leadership in the evaluation of business initiatives, including M & A activity, and defining the financial implications for the organisation.
• Ensure that management at all levels have accurate and timely financial analysis to support effective operational control and forecasting.
• Established relationship and gravitas with the City and the LSE
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a background and experience of managing teams in a geographically diverse environment. The successful applicant will have led the creation and delivery of first class financial support to a business and contributed to strategic planning at Board level.
In addition you will possess the requisite energy and ability to help shape rapid entrepreneurial development. You will need to be financially strong, with experience of working on consolidations and of making key business decisions.
