Senior Financial Reporting Manager Location: Dorset | Salary Package: c£90,000

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious accountant with Group financial reporting experience to join a fast moving retail company.

The role will be technically focused around IFRS and you will be instrumental in providing advice to the wider finance and divisional management on interpretation and implementation of accounting policies.

This role will allow you to demonstrate your technical reporting experience in a commercial environment. You will lead a team providing the technical statutory accounting solution within the business.

The role will include:
Co-ordinating the Group reporting requirements with divisional management and assisting Group reporting teams to ensure information received in accordance with Group Reporting requirements
Preparation of the month end consolidated accounts and balance sheet review
Review of the subsidiary and dormant accounts under UK GAAP and manage the subsequent conversion to IFRS
Embed IFRS reporting into finance systems
Preparation and review the of the Group consolidated accounts under IFRS
Review quarterly banking covenants and forward forecasts
Project manage the production of the year end audit files and Group Consolidated accounts and managing the relationship with the auditors
Assist the Senior Tax Manager with tax analysis for the corporation tax computations
Responsible for the review and development of 2 qualified accountants and 1 part qualified
You will be:
ACCA/ ACA with excellent technical accounting experience
An excellent team player, maximising value through teamwork within the department
A good communicator
Highly motivated
Able to prioritise and manage time in order to meet deadlines
Qualifications: Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA
