SJob Title: VP – Business Development, International Media business- salary £90,000 - £100,000 plus bonus

Background:

The Department focuses on M&A and Strategic Partnership opportunities across all the major business units. Additionally, the team works on strategic planning for the International business.

VP’s main responsibilities:

Identify appropriate potential corporate acquisition/partnership opportunities utilising internal and external industry relationships and contacts, media industry knowledge, research etc.

Structure and execution of identified and approved transactions.

Strategy development for new business initiatives.

Ideal Experience:

9 years + relevant experience

Experience in leading the execution of complex M&A transactions, including Joint ventures and transactions with external financing

Exposure to international markets, both in Europe and Asia

Background in company/asset valuation and financial structuring of deals

Strong working knowledge of the media industry

Ability to perform thorough research independently, originate and lead transactions

Ability to think strategically about the changing TV/Film media landscape

Comfortable dealing with senior management and senior international industry contacts

Clear thinker with external focus, excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet manner


Language skills:

European or Asian language skills are advantageous
